Question: What is one way you start the day off right with those around you?

Small actions matter and that is the mantra with which I try to begin each day. Smiles and a sing-songly “Good Morning!” greet each member of my family

Every morning I greet my son by giving him a hug and a kiss on the cheek and I say, “Good morning son.” And he replies, “Good morning mother.” We always chuckle, it is our little tradition. My girls get a tight snuggle hug, back rub, and kiss on the head. Actions speak louder than words, especially when just waking up and walking around like zombies. Then we watch Joyce Meyer together while eating breakfast.

DanaRae – I just love the idea of watching Joyce Meyer over breakfast! That is a fabulous tradition. I may need to try this πŸ˜‰ Thanks for weighing in today!

I greet my 18 month old with , “Good Morning”, then a hug and kiss. While she is drinking milk, A read picture scriptures to her. She loves it. Then we read a few other books. My husband is a little crabby in the morning :), but I always ask, “how did you sleep?”

I always greet my children with a smile and a hug or back rub too. I love to talk with them during their breakfast and this time is always richer if I’ve started my day with my personal devotional time first πŸ™‚ I’m so glad you are doing this!! xo
